Des Wong started his Detailing as a hobby from the age of 19yrs old, (1992). Des became a professional Detailer @ 27 in the year 2000 as a contractor for a large Detailing company in Perth. Without anymore to learn from his peers, Des pursued his greatest PASSION with car polishing which led him some serious research & development, from Paint Supply specialists, world leaders in compound experience & technology. Coupled with his continuous hands on practice in order to achieve Perfection. Des became one with his passion for polishing perfection being able to remove spider webbing, swirls & buffing marks. Des started AutoFX Wa in 2002, Concentrating on prestige polishing & late model vehicles, mostly on dark colour vehicles, this is how AutoFX built its name through "THE ART OF POLISHING" & combined it with a honesty customers can trust. Some services are currently used & recommended by a Mercedes-Benz Dealership in Bentley WA today. In 2005 Des met with the professional Guard Roller in Perth called Dent Craft. Dent Craft trained Des the skill of Guard Rolling, Des is now well known in the industry for his Guard Rolling skills.  

By 2005, Mercedes-Benz brought out its new scratch-resistant clear coats through out the world. This extra hard coating is known as CERAMIC NANO paint, which requires a new set of buffing, polishing skills & technology. Again Des has all the experience & specialises in any vehicle with this coating.

AutoFX WA became a small group of self employed operators that have been trained to the highest standards with real work experience at a Mercedes-Benz Dealership.

Kayleene, a fussy mother of 3 is a Senior Contractor for AutoFX part time, Kayleene has a lovely heart and knows what's right from wrong which is an important trait in this industry, she cares for your car as if it was her own. Many of her clients call back with compliments.
