Where concerns of deep swirls / webbing, general & fine scratches, roughness, buffing trails, oxidation, minor fall out stains, and the look of paint dryness are in need of removal then this is for you! Leaving your car with a deep wet gloss and protection. Process entails the highest quality 6 to 8 stage industry leader in paint rectification systems, & takes approx 8-10 or more hours. A rate of $60 per hour is how we determine the average cost per job.

Nano Scratch Resistant & Hard Paints will take much longer to achieve the same result due to the resilience of abrasives by the extra tough clear coat, but the advantage is the finish lasts a lot longer.

8.00am

1) wash the entire car including wheels thoroughly and rinse

30 minutes

2) Remove the surface contaminants using the clay bar process & rinse thoroughly.

3) Chamois dry the entire car

30 minutes

4) Using masking tape & cloth we have to tape & cover areas that might be damaged by the buffer & compound/polish stains from rubbers & plastics

9.30am

5) Stage 1 & 2 REMOVAL OF EXISTING SCRATCHES Start on the most aggressive compound that is needed to be able to remove the bulk and deepest scratches & swirls that will do the job but not cut deeper than required. This is the point where the paint will be cut for the most depth and enough paint removed to level out the highs & lows of the scratches keeping in mind we DO NOT want to remove too much paint that may result in paint degradation.

2.5 to 3.5 hours

Using basic physics this will leave deep buffing swirls, these buffing swirls can not be removed quickly and many stages must be adhered to in order to remove the remainder of scratches & swirls we started with as well as the buffing swirls. this is not an opinion but pure physics & factual science of abrasion.

12.00pm

6) Stage 3 & 4 REMOVE SWIRLS FROM STAGE 2 Now using a medium/aggressive cutting compound a 2 different density of pads we now re buff the paint 2 more times. At this stage the stock removal of paint is quite minimal.

2.5 to 3.5 hours

We use compounds that Do NOT contain waxes, fillers or silicones that will always hide the swirls which what we are trying to remove.

2.30pm

7) Stage 5 & 6 REMOVE SWIRLS FROM STAGE 4 Using fine & then ultra fine polishing abrasive this will; a) remove the remainder of the swirls from your car’s paint finish and b) polish the paint to an extremely wet hi gloss finish

1 to 2 hours

8) Stage 7 REMOVE ULTRA FINE HOLOGRAMS Using a dual action random orbital we buff the car yet one last time to complete the machine phase of our rectification process.

30 minutes 4.00pm

9) The Waxing Process A pre wax treatment is applied to strengthen the bond of the wax which offers more shine & increased longevity

15 to 20 minutes

10) The paint is now ready for the first coat of Swissvax Wax

15 minutes

11) The Final Detail The tape is removed, car is washed down thoroughly & chamois dry including lifting the bonnet clean the edges, the door jams wiped from the polishing mess created.

12) 2nd coat of wax is applied & let to stand whilst we detail the rest of the exterior & add finishing touches

AVERAGE TOTAL CASE TIME 9.5 HOURS

Every job differs and the above is only an example based on standard 2k paint. Some take less than 9hr.
